Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Rochester is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I absolutely love this place! It really reminds me of the flavors back home. The food selection is great, everything is always fresh, and the hot pot broths are amazing. My favorite is definitely the tomato broth! The staff are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious hot pot experience!

I’ve been here so many times and it’s easily one of my favorite hot pot spots! The ingredients are always fresh, the broth is flavorful, and there’s a great variety to choose from. The staff is friendly and keeps everything clean and well stocked. Great food, great service, and definitely worth the price. I always leave happy and can’t wait to come back!

Terrible experience. Don’t waste your money here. The food was low quality, dirty-looking, and not fresh. This is honestly the worst malatang restaurant I’ve ever been to. The owner seems to deliberately overcharge customers by offering mostly heavy ingredients with roots and stems that weigh a lot, while providing very few lighter options. You end up paying much more than the food is worth. The meat looked like it had been frozen for a very long time and had already changed color, which was very concerning. The soup base tasted like a cheap concentrated broth mixed with low-quality chili oil rather than a properly prepared stock. Overall, the food was disgusting, overpriced, and extremely disappointing. This business should stop misleading customers and improve its food quality and honesty before charging people these prices. Don’t come for hurt your healthy.

Everything here is incredibly fresh! I’m obsessed with their mushroom broth—it’s so comforting and perfect for the winter. You can customize your bowl with your choice of ingredients, and the veggie selection is so good it actually makes me eat more vegetables! One thing to note: their fruit teas are amazing as well, love their passion fruit one! Their new dumplings are just as amazing, especially the taro one—it’s a must-try!

This place is incredible! Their tomato broth is my absolute favorite — sweet, tangy, and packed with rich, comforting tomato flavor. I seriously can’t get enough — I crave it almost every week! All of their ingredients are super fresh, and you can choose your own toppings to build the perfect malatang. Their dry-toss malatang is amazing too — full of flavor and incredibly satisfying. Online ordering is fast and convenient, and the location is perfect — right next to the Highland parking lot, with plenty of street parking available as well.
